Common laboratory chemicals

Learning Chemistry involves use of various substances, called chemicals. Indeed Chemistry teaches us how to make new substances or change them into more useful products. A school laboratory therefore stocks many chemicals for learning, including the familiar sodium chloride (table salt).

NB: You are not expected to learn all these chemicals now, but to familiarize yourself with them slowly over the years.
